Telephone Cables

Description

Cables primarily designed for the interconnection of telephone equipment. In addition these cables may be used for interconnection of other communication and control equipment or low level signalling applications.

Telephone Cables

Shield Wire

Shield Wire

Description

The use of shielded cables in security systems provides some protection from power frequency and radio frequency interference, reducing the number of false alarms being generated. Best is to keep data or signal cables physically separated by at least 3 inches (75mm) from ‘heavy’ power circuits which are in parallel.

PVC Insulated Wiring Cables

PVC Insulated Wiring Cables

Description

Electrical power, lighting and internal wiring in households, industrial and administrative buildings, Agricultural premises, switchgear and distribution boards.

Applications

Types Specifications
Feature Have excellent thermal properties of insulation
Operating Temperature They are used and operate at a temperature of 105°C.
Tested & Certified BASEC, Lloyd’s Register and ESMA
Sizes Manufactured in sizes from 1.5mm² to 16 mm² rated 450/750 V as per BS 6004
Benifit PVC insulated cables provide more flexibility and less bending radius for installation.

Flexible Cables

Copper Tube Terminals

Copper Tube Terminals

Description

Standard copper tube terminals are manufactured from seamless copper tube. All terminals are provided with an inspection hole to ensure the conductor is fully inserted before crimping. A bell mouth also ensures a smooth transition from lug to cable, thus avoiding the problems of chafing where the component is subject to vibation. The internal barrel diameters suit standard cables as defined in BS6360.
